VIRBAC PROMOTES FIONA J. McLELLAN TO GENERAL MANAGER, VIRBAC CANADA INC.

FORT WORTH, Texas (May 13, 2013) – Virbac Corporation today announced that Fiona J. McLellan has been named General Manager, Virbac Canada Inc., effective immediately. McLellan has been serving as the Director of Virbac Canada Inc. since joining in July 2010. As General Manager, she will continue to oversee all Canadian Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Veterinary Services operations.

Prior to joining Virbac Canada Inc., McLellan held various progressing leadership positions across both Bayer Animal Health’s U.S. and Canadian business units, including Parasiticide, Advantage Family and Companion Animal marketing manager positions, K9 Advantix product manager, and territory sales manager.

Before joining Bayer Animal Health, McLellan’s animal health career encompassed Marketing and Sales management with Pet Plan Insurance and veterinarian hospital management.

McLellan will continue to report directly to Virbac North America chief executive officer, Dr. Erik Martinez. “Fiona has proven herself to be a highly successful leader,” said Martinez. “I am confident that her operational experience combined with her extensive companion animal background will continue to bring a valuable perspective to our organization, keeping it focused on supporting both our veterinarian and pet owner customers, and developing our employees in the best ways possible.”
