FORT WORTH, Texas — Virbac is proud to announce the smashing success of their recent C.E.T® VEGGIEDENT® promotion thanks to more than 1000 participating veterinary clinics. For each bag of C.E.T® VEGGIEDENT® Chews sold during the months of September and October, Virbac pledged to donate one dollar in support to the New Horizons Service Dogs. These funds will go directly to help fund service dogs in training and general company operations.
“New Horizons is an organization about more than just pets, it’s about creating a trusted partner for someone who is disabled and needs assistance,” said Monique Schwartz, VP of Marketing, Virbac. “Seeing what these dogs do for the independence and quality of life of the people they are partnered with speaks to the importance of this organization, and others like it. It’s an honor for us to be able to help support such a worthy organization.”
Virbac, recently, presented the donation check to Janet Severt, New Horizons Service Dogs Executive Director, at the North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC), one of the largest veterinary conferences in North America. As Janet graciously accepted the donation on the organization’s behalf, she wanted to acknowledge the value and importance of contributions. “Since our organization is purely donation based, we truly value the generosity of Virbac in supporting our current and future service dogs, said Severt. “We are looking forward to continuing to service the disabled community with the finest of canine partners.”
Accompanying Janet at NAVC was A Service Dog Named Virbac, the service dog whose lifetime of training and care was solely sponsored by Virbac. Virbac also regularly donates much needed products and supplies.
The Virbac line of C.E.T® Home Dental Care products offers enzymatic toothpastes, toothbrushes, a water additive, an oral rinse and a variety of oral hygiene chews to make at-home dental care easy for any pet owner.
