Feeding Guidelines

These recommended daily feeding amounts are tailored to the reduced calorie needs of your spayed or neutered dog. Find the row that matches your dog’s weight and the column that matches your dog’s needs — you'll see one set of feeding guidelines for overweight (not obese) dogs that need to lose weight, one for dogs that have a tendency to gain weight and one set for dogs that have a normal body condition.

If feeding an intact dog, please talk to your veterinary team for feeding recommendations.

Transitioning Your Adult to VETERINARY HPM® Pet Food

When beginning a new food, it is recommended to transition your dog gradually. Begin introducing the new food as a portion of your pet’s regularly scheduled meals. You may increase the portion of the new food over a period of five consecutive days until your spayed or neutered dog is fully transitioned to VETERINARY HPM® Nutrition.
